Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 July 2026
This Policy explains how the personal data processed when you use Explica Tu Contrato is handled, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish data-protection law.
Data controller
Controller: Alejandro Ruiz Bermejo.
Tax ID (NIF): 60554057W.
Contact: soporte@explicatucontrato.com.
Data we process
The content of the contract you upload or paste for analysis. These documents may contain personal data about you or third parties (names, ID numbers, addresses, amounts). Provide only the data that is necessary.
Payment data: handled directly by Stripe as the payment provider. We do not store your card details.
Aggregated, cookieless analytics usage data (see the Cookie Policy).
Purpose
We process the contract content for the sole purpose of generating and delivering the analysis you requested. We do not use it for any other purpose.
Legal basis
Performance of the service you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Your consent to process the document you provide (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time without retroactive effect.
Retention period
The analysis is stored temporarily and is automatically deleted after about one hour. If you complete payment, it is kept for up to 24 hours to let you access the report, and is then deleted.
The text of your contract is not kept beyond that period, nor is it recorded in our logging systems.
In fact, the contract text is never stored on our servers at all: it is processed to generate the analysis and returned to you, and is only held in your own browser session so the original document can be shown alongside the report. It disappears when you close the tab.
Recipients and processors
To provide the service we rely on providers acting as data processors, under their corresponding data processing agreements (DPAs): Anthropic (the AI model that generates the analysis), Vercel (hosting) and Upstash (temporary storage), both in the EU region, Stripe (payments), and PostHog (cookieless analytics).
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
International transfers
The AI model provider (Anthropic) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers are covered by the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses.
The content you provide is not used to train artificial-intelligence models.
Processing with artificial intelligence
The analysis is generated automatically by a language model. Its output is informational and produces no legal effects on its own; we recommend checking it with a professional before making decisions.
Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing, and portability by writing to soporte@explicatucontrato.com. Given the very short retention of the data, exercising some rights may be limited by the automatic deletion of the content.
If you believe your data has not been handled correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data during its brief processing, including automatic deletion and the use of EU-region infrastructure.
